In a small apartment, there are only a few places to keep cleaning supplies. My favorite place is under the sink in my kitchen. Not only do I keep cleaning products there; it also houses my trash bags, dishwasher detergent, bug spray, art supplies and more.  However, attempting to find items was almost impossible: It became so messy, I would have to take items out just to find one product. Not only was it was a waste of time but it was also a waste of space.

There are a few simple, cheap and effective ways to organize any cabinet. The first thing I did was to add a lazy susan: This allows you to organize by category and access those products easily. In case you don’t know what a lazy susan is, it’s a turntable. Adding the lazy susan allowed for more space on the side in order to clearly access my other products like my trash bags and art supplies.

The next thing I did was to add command hooks behind the door for my dust pan & brush. Command hooks are also great to hang extra plastic bags and your oven mitts. Another organization idea for any cabinet is to add space saver shelves: These allow you to easily store products under and over each other:
