glam apartment faux wallpaper

The wall to the left of my entryway has always annoyed me. It used to be bare and boring with nothing on it but a pasty-white phone. Two years after moving into my apartment, I’ve finally done something to spark interest in this space and I am so happy with how it turned out.

Those who follow my blog know that I created a feature wall in my living room just a few months ago. The faux wallpaper was created with just 1 roll of metallic tape I bought from Amazon! It turned out fabulously and everyone always comments on it when they walk into the apartment. Months ago, my roommate Erica suggested that we could do a similar type of feature on our entryway wall. I shot down the idea at the time due to there being other parts of the apartment that needed some love.

Fast-forward 3 months later and I finally found time to finish the entryway! I took the leftover metallic tape I originally had and used that to create the new feature wall. Make sure to check out my original post on how to create a feature wall.

In addition to the wall, I also used the extra tape to create temporary gold legs to my once-boring bench. I sewed on some black faux fur to create more of a glam feel to the space. I am currently looking for new gold legs I can replace the ones I currently have!
