Whether your family is staying for the weekend or you’re hosting a social event at your home, making a good impression with your guests is always important. I like to be that person who has the best reputation for being a good host. Over the years I’ve compiled some tips & tricks on how to achieve this status:
Keep WiFi information Handy:
Instead of having to constantly spell out the WiFi password to every person who walks into your home, just keep a sticky note with your WiFi information readily available.
Keep a Guest Kit in Your Bathroom:
People can sometimes be forgetful so make certain to have a small stash of toiletry items guests can use. These items include extra toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, razors etc..
Stock Up on Food & Drinks
Find out what types of food your guests like to snack on or eat for breakfast. When my friend came to visit a few months ago, I surprised him with a gift bag FULL of his favorite candy! If you’re hosting a party, stock up on drinks you know your guests will like. Gestures like this will make your guests feel extra special.
Provide Gift Bags
Hosting an event at your home? Make sure the event is extremely memorable by giving your guests a token at the end of the evening. As an example, I threw a New Years Eve party and gave all my guests mini shooters and shot glasses to take home.
