Anyone who knows me knows I have a crazy obsession with wallpaper. It’s probably one of the top home items I “window shop” for. I can’t wait to finally experiment with it when I move this summer! In the meantime, I am living vicariously through other people, like Kat.
Kat has the most beautiful home. Seriously, you can check out her home tour here.
Isn’t this one of the prettiest wallpaper patterns you’ve ever seen? It’s from Kate Zaremba and you can find more of her fabulous designs here.
Below you can see the process of how it was installed:
The key to seamlessly applying removable wallpaper is making sure your walls are clean before applying. Use a damp cloth to wipe away any dirt or dust and let air dry. It’s easier if you work your way from the top to bottom – the gravity helps avoid any air bubbles or wrinkles.
This simple, budget friendly transformation is a great example of how small changes can make a big impact in your space. The great thing about removable wallpaper is that if you don’t like it, you can just peel it off! That’s why I prefer it over paint. Also, doesn’t it look x10 better than plain old paint?
Fun tip: You can add paneling over the wallpaper to give it more character. Will have a tutorial on this over the summer when I move!
