It steams my clams every time I read an interior design book or magazine and the designer says, “only incorporate real florals on your home” SIR, DO YOU THINK EVERYONE CAN AFFORD TO BUY FRESH FLORALS EVERY WEEK?

I spoke about this a little in my first book, and I have a whole section in my next ????, but faux flowers have come such a long way in the last 5 years. I mean look at this arrangement. And it’ll last forever.

Because you all seem to love my arrangements, I’m going to start creating recipes for all of them with direct links to florals you can purchase.

The first arrangement I want to share with you is this feminine-moody arrangement. Would you guess that these are all faux florals?! Shop the look above or click here for my picks.

Aside from purchasing the same stems as me, here are a few tips on how to create a chic floral arrangement:

  1. Use a chicken wire ball if you are using a vase with a wide neck. For the vase in this tutorial, no chicken wire is needed.
  2. First, add the greenery to create the base of the arrangement. Make sure there are different heights to create asymmetry.
  3. Next, add in the florals at different heights. Bend the stems or use wire cutters to shorten them.
  4. If you have any smaller florals, make sure to add those in last to fill in any empty spots and/or to add more depth.

And there you have it! Such a chic floral arrangement that will always stay fresh. Will you try this out in your own home?
